Feyenoord coach Ruud Gullit has trained his sights on NAC Breda midfielder David Mendes da Silva as he continues his overhaul of his Kuip squad.
Gullit is set to sign Benjamin De Ceulaer from Sint Truiden in the near future, but he could be used as a makeweight in the deal to bring Mendes da Silva to De Kuip.
Gullit is rumoured to be keen on loaning De Ceulaer to NAC for the season as part-payment for Mendes da Silva.
NAC are said to be keen on landing De Ceulaer, but they are determined to secure a either a substantial fee or direct replacement for Mendes da Silva.
It would appear the interested parties, including Sint Truiden, will reconvene in a bid to find an accord that suits all sides.
