Groningen have expressed an interest in a trio of players.

Defender Gijs Luirink and striker Jack Tuyp (pictured) are contracted to Volendam, while Danny Buijs is on the books of Feyenoord.

Feyenoord have already agreed a deal with Groningen for Buijs, but the club will have to work harder to land the Volendam duo.

"We have got our teeth in Luirink and Tuyp, but Henk Kras (chairman of FC Volendam) is no easy negotiator," Groningen general director Hans Nijland told Dagblad van het Noorden. "It could become a difficult case to get them to FC Groningen."

Buijs has been offered a deal by Groningen, but is the subject of rival interest from Vitesse Arnhem and Roda and is set to take stock of his options before making a decision on his future.
