WILLEM II have confirmed they will not stand in Denny Landzaat`s way if he wants to secure a move to Feyenoord.

The two clubs have held preliminary talks, as Feyenoord boss Bert van Marwijk eyes midfield reinforcements for his Kuip squad.

Willem II have slapped a high price on the Dutch international`s head in the past, which frightened off interested parties.

The likes of Ajax and Hamburg were put off in the past, but Willem II have now insisted they will cooperate in transfer negotiations.

"The time has come for us to cooperate," Willem II technical director Barry Hulshoff told De Telegraaf. "It is logical that Feyenoord is the next step.

"After Ajax pulled out because of the transfer fee, we said we would not let him miss out on a top club for a second time.

"We don't want to disappoint him but we will, of course, want a reasonable transfer fee."

Feyenoord are not keen on Willem`s ‚é¼3 million demand for Landzaat, and have reportedly offered either Glenn Loovens or Johan Elmander in part exchange.
