Feyenoord back in for Babos

FEYENOORD have rekindled their interest in NAC Breda goalkeeper Gabor Babos.

The Dutch giants have held a long-term interest in the Hungarian shot-stopper and tried to sign him last summer.

NAC rejected their £2.5million bid last year, but they are believed to be ready to sell him now for a lower fee to help ease their financial problems.

Feyenoord have opened talks with NAC and have offered players in exchange as part of the deal

NAC director Willem van der Hoeven played down the reports but admitted that both clubs were in discussions.

"It's still pretty premature, but we are speaking with each other," van der Hoeven told Dutch daily BN/De Stem.
