Dutch midfielder hoping for surprise home win

Wout Brama insists FC Twente have a chance of upsetting Inter Milan when they meet in UEFA Champions League action. Last season's Eredivisie winners Twente will face a tough opening group game when they entertain reigning European and Serie A champions Inter at Grolsch Veste on Tuesday evening. But 24-year-old midfielder Brama is looking forward to the encounter, and is backing his side to make the most of their home advantage.

Excitement

"I'm looking ahead with a lot of excitement," Brama told Uefa's official website. "It'll be hard but we have a chance. We always create chances at home. The most important thing is not to approach this match like it's a little bonus. "It's the UEFA Champions League and we're the Dutch champions. We have to show that." Twente will face tough competition in group A of the tournament after being drawn alongside Inter, Tottenham and German club Werder Bremen. And Brama is under no illusions over the challenge his side will face in order to progress to the next round. He added: "We watched the draw together and when I saw the group we were in I realised it would be a real challenge to go through." Twente coach Michel Preud'homme, who took over at the Dutch club following Steve McClaren's departure to Wolfsburg in May, agrees his side face an uphill task in advancing from their group.
Difficult
"We could have been in a better position," said Preud'homme. "We have the European champions, a German team that are always difficult to play and, maybe worst of all, an English team from the third pot. "Tottenham might not be Manchester United or Chelsea, but the difference isn't that great."
