Twente Enschede have extended the contracts of young stars Wout Brama and Patrick Gerritsen.

Their previous contracts had expired in 2008, but the club have now moved to secure them until 2010.

Brama, 20, and Gerritsen, 19, both came through Twente's youth academy to establish themselves in the first team last season.

They are also regulars in the Dutch Under-21 team.

Gerritsen is currently sidelined with a broken leg and is not expected to return to action until next year.

He picked up the injury in a youth team against Heerenveen on Tuesday, when he collided with goalkeeper Boy Waterman.
