PSV Eindhoven have offered Leonardo the chance to move to the Philips Stadion in January, but the NAC Breda forward is still mulling over his options.
The forward has earned rave reviews for his performances this term, with his efforts having caught the eye of a number of clubs.
Premiership side Tottenham are rumoured to be keen, but reports in the Dutch press have always had PSV at the forefront of the chase.
Leonardo can leave NAC for a set fee of é¼750,000 (£500,000) and PSV have matched that figure.
"It's up to him now to make a decision," PSV technical manager Stan Valckx told Eindhoven Dagblad.
Leonardo would appear to still be taking stock of his situation, as he noted: "I'm not in a hurry.
"I don't know when I can think about my future, because I'm fully concentrating on NAC and the competition has just started."
