PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Afellay is approaching a crossroads in his career, as he has to decide whether to pledge his international future to Holland or Morocco.

The midfielder has always been held in high regard and his performances for PSV over the last couple of seasons have prompted international managers to sit up and take note.

He qualifies for both Holland and Morocco, but he has so far only represented the Oranje at Under-21 level.

A full debut would appear to be on the horizon, as Dutch coach Marco van Basten has included him in his squad for this month's friendly with England.

Should be take the field against England, Afellay would no longer be able to represent Morocco and he admits he has a tough decision to make.

"For me, this is such an important decision," he told PSV's website. "This (Dutch call-up) does not change my thinking as I will have to come to a decision which is right for me."
