PSV Eindhoven coach Ronald Koeman has revealed he will seek to bring in attacking reinforcements in January.
PSV have lauded it over their Eredivisie rivals for the last couple of years, but they are unlikely to have things all their own way this term.
Heerenveen held PSV to a goalless draw at the weekend and Koeman confirmed after the game that he will seek out a new striker in January.
"Everybody at PSV is conscious that we could use some attacking reinforcement," said Cocu. "It will be best if I find somebody who can play in several positions."
PSV skipper Philip Cocu echoed his coach's sentiments.
"We just miss force," Cocu told De Telegraaf. "Every time there was only one player in the box.
"At the beginning of the season I stated that our attacking options are not sufficient. So I understand the wish of the trainer. You cannot chance everything on one man."
