Patrick Kluivert is looking to prove to the Dutch public that he still has the quality needed to play at the top level.
Kluivert returned home last week when signing a one-year deal with Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven.
The striker has been in the shade for the last couple of seasons, having struggled for form at both Newcastle and Valencia, but he is eager to prove his worth.
"I am very satisfied," said Kluivert. "PSV are the best option for me.
"At Valencia I didn't play; the Netherlands hasn't seen much of me the last two years.
"But I feel well, am 30-years-old and am eager to show all what I have in me.
"The Eredivisie has changed, but I think that I will get used to that soon."
