Edwin Zoetebier is rumoured to be on the brink of signing a deal with NAC Breda.
The veteran is moving on from PSV Eindhoven, with the 36-year-old citing a desire to play regularly in the autumn of his career as the reason for his departure from the Philips Stadion.
NAC are keen to thrash out a deal and it is being claimed that a two-year contract is on the table.
Rumours in the Netherlands suggest the keeper could be unveiled by NAC at some point next week.
Zoetebier could well be joined at the club by Gert-Jan Tamerus, with the Heracles Almelo striker expected to pen a three-year deal in the coming days.
The two new recruits could well work under the guidance of Robert Maaskant.
RBC Roosendaal are resigned to losing Maasskant following their relegation and NAC have trained their sights on the respected tactician.
"For the image of the club, the departure of Maaskant would be a disappointment, but financially it would be a windfall," RBC president Jan Pollemans told Voetbal International.
