Alex sets sights on Milan move

PSV's Brazilian defender Alex admits he has his heart set on a move to Milan.

Brazilian defender Alex is looking to leave PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season and admits he has his heart set on a move to Milan.

The imposing stopper joined PSV in the summer of 2004 on loan after being bought by Chelsea.

His stay at the Philips Stadion was scheduled to last for two seasons, at which point he was to move to Stamford Bridge.

However, he has not played a sufficient percentage of games for Brazil to qualify for a work permit in England, so a switch to The Blues look unlikely.

The 23-year-old is hoping his displays in De Eredivisie will catch the eye of Milan as he would dearly love to become part of the Rossoneri's Brazilian contingent.

"Playing with guys as Dida, Cafu, Kaka and the other Brazilians is a dream for everybody, for me also," he told Eindhoven Dagblad.

"I'm working hard to become a better player.

"Milan is, in Europe, my favourite team. Now there are so many Brazilians playing there it would be easy to integrate."
