New deal joy for Takak

PSV Eindhoven have handed a two-year contract extension to promising midfielder Jasar Takak.

The 22-year-old is on loan at Zwolle, but his future was in some doubt as he was coming to the end of his contract with PSV.

PSV boss Guus Hiddink has clearly been monitoring Takak's progress as he has sanctioned a two-year deal and confirmed the midfielder will return to Eindhoven in the summer.

The Eindhoven club have been busy on the contract front, with Otman Bakkal and Nyron Wau signing on until 2007.

The Philips Stadion side are also confident of extending the contracts of teenagers Jan Wuytens and Ibrahim Afellay.
