Dennis Rommedahl has expressed his relief at not requiring an ankle operation.

The PSV Eindhoven winger has been out of action for the past four weeks, and will now require another month on the sidelines.

The Danish flyer admitted being nervous prior to meeting with the club doctor, but was happy with the outcome.

"I was really nervous about the verdict from the doctor, and was relieved afterwards," said Rommedahl.

"I will now start the rehab training cautiously and will not touch a ball for two weeks.

"A comeback will be at the earliest in four weeks and then probably as substitute for PSV a couple of times."
