PSV EINDHOVEN have loaned out Jelle Ten Rouwelaar to Groningen and replaced the goalkeeper with Sparta Rotterdam's Frank Kooiman.
Ten Rouwelaar has disappointed PSV coach Guus Hiddink since his arrival from Emmen last summer.
He had initially been signed as back-up to first choice Ronald Waterreus but has not impressed Hiddink.
The PSV chief had been searching for a fresh keeper and has settled on Sparta shot-stopper Kooiman.
Ten Rouwelaar will solve Groningen's own goalkeeping crisis as their number one Roy Beukenkamp is injured.
Kooiman's arrival at the Philips Stadion will place pressure on Waterreus and also boost Sparta's financial situation.
Sparta will receive a small fee for loaning out Kooiman with PSV also paying the wages of the 33-year-old.
