PSV EINDHOVEN winger Dennis Rommedahl has committed his future to the club by signing a five-year extension on his contract.
The 22-year-old had been linked with a move to England or Spain and, although he had considered a transfer, he is now happy to be staying in Holland.
"I have actually considered a change of clubs, especially in the periods when I have not been playing so much, but now it's going really well and I am glad to have reached an agreement," said the Danish international.
"I am really quite satisfied, Eindhoven is a nice city and I can be happy here for a longer period.
"We have a good young side and I don't think I would get it much better elsewhere right now."
The Dutch side were eager to extend Rommedahl's contract as soon as there was interest from abroad and are delighted to have agreed a deal.
"Dennis is a great player with whom we have wanted to extend his contract for some time," said PSV press officer Pedro Salazar.
"He is an important player for us and we believe that he can continue to develop and has a bright future ahead of him."
