DANISH international winger Dennis Rommedahl impressed in PSV Eindhoven's 4-1 win over Second Division FC Den Bosch in the Dutch Cup on Wednesday - in one of his few starts for the club.
He provided two assists for goals in an all-round superb display.
"It's nice to start the year with a so clear victory in the Amstel Cup," said Rommedahl.
Rommedahl is unhappy with the lack of first team football he has been getting this season and admitted that he has held talks with PSV coach Erik Gerets about his future.
"I have had a short talk with PSV head coach Erik Gerets and told him that I play too little," said Rommedahl. "He replied that he can't promise me anything, and that he views me as a young player in development."
The highly-rated ace also hinted that he may have to leave to get regular first-team football.
"But it might well happen that I ask directly to be sold during the summer, one year before the contract expires, if nothing changes," said Rommedahl.
