Ajax cruised through to the quarter-finals of the KNVB-Beker with a 3-0 win over third-tier IJsselmeervogels.
The Amsterdam giants staved off any threat of an upset against the Topklasse leaders inside 10 minutes with goals from Viktor Fischer and Danny Hoesen, and Fischer scored again after half-time.
The Dane's opener came when he finished at the far post after Bojan crossed from the right, and a defensive error gifted a quick second goal to Hoesen.
Fischer's second came in the 63rd minute, with an excellent finish into the top corner, and Ajax were never troubled as they advanced to the last eight.
In the night's other game, an all-Eredivisie affair, Soren Rieks scored on the stroke of half-time as NEC Nijmegen beat Groningen 1-0.
Rieks intercepted Eric Botteghin's misplaced pass and finished low across keeper Marco Bizot to break the stalemate.
But NEC were grateful to their own keeper Kalle Johnsson, who made second-half saves from Tjaronn Chery and Andraz Kirm while Krisztian Adorjan hit the crossbar. NEC's Alireza Jahanbakhsh, meanwhile, had an effort cleared off the line.
