Ajax full-back Nicolai Boilesen is happy to be back in action after enduring a torrid two years due to injury.
The Denmark international has seen the past two seasons blighted by a series of thigh problems, which has restricted him to a handful of first-team appearances.
However, he is now back to fitness and Boilesen, who has previously been linked with Arsenal and Southampton, is feeling upbeat about the future.
"I am happy to be back and, of course, it is nice to play matches for Ajax again," the 21-year-old told Danish paper BT.
"That is what I have been waiting for. It is obvious that it gives me a confidence boost to have played for Ajax.
"When you have been out for almost two years, you cannot expect to be able to play full on every three days immediately."
