Everton target signs three-year deal at San Siro; Bojan set to arrive

AC Milan have announced the signing of Mbaye Niang from Caen on a three-year contract while Bojan Krkic is also on the brink of joining the San Siro club. A deal for teenage forward Niang was agreed earlier on Tuesday and the 17-year-old, who had been linked with Everton, has now passed his medical and put pen to paper. Niang was a regular for Caen last season as they slipped out of Ligue 1 and has already broken into the France Under 21 side. Meanwhile, Bojan is also expected to soon be confirmed as a Milan player after Roma's former Barcelona player arrived for talks.

Happy birthday

The youngster is expected to sign a season-long loan with 2011/12 Serie A runners-up Milan and he thinks it will be the perfect way to celebrate on the day of his 22nd birthday. "Going to AC Milan is a great birthday gift for me," Bojan told Milannews.it. "I am very happy. "We can do better than last year. I have not talked with manager Massimiliano Allegri but I am very happy to be at AC Milan. I feel ready to start." AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has already claimed the signings of Niang and Bojan will mean they are not in the market for any extra strikers. The Italian giants have throughout the summer been linked with Liverpool's Andy Carroll and Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner.
