Holland defender Gregory van der Wiel claims the rumours linking him with a move away from Ajax are false.
The £9million-rated 23-year-old is thought to be wanted by new Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas, while Manchester City are also reported to be considering a bid.
Van der Wiel, who featured in the 2010 World Cup final, would represent a youthful replacement for the likes of Paulo Ferreira and Jose Bosingwa in Chelsea's ageing squad.
But with two years remaining on his club contract, the Dutchman is focusing on his career with Ajax and Holland's Euro 2012 campaign.
"It's just rumours," Van der Wiel told Onside.dk. "There are always a lot of rumours about me and none of it is true.
"So I really don't know what to think. I'm just focusing on playing for Ajax this year, and then next year there is the European Championship. Then we will see, what happens.
"I'm used to rumours, so it doesn't really bother me"
Bayern Munich were also thought to want Van der Wiel, but the signing of Jerome Boateng is likely to have ended the German club's interest.
