Ajax have handed a new deal to Emanual Boakye, while Johnny Heitinga and Wesley Sneijder are close to returning to the fold.
Boakye made his debut this term and has impressed in his four outings for Danny Blind's first team.
The Amsterdam paymasters feel the 21-year-old has stacks of potential and have handed him a two-year contract.
Heitinga and Sneijder have been sidelined for some time with kidney and hamstring problems respectively.
The pair have returned to training and will look to prove their fitness in the final weeks of the season, with the World Cup looming.
