Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam is disappointed by the reaction of Guus Hiddink and PSV Eindhoven after he decided to play for Ajax next season.
Stam is annoyed that he has been portrayed as a money grabber, when that aspect played no part in his decision to sign for Ajax.
Stam's agent, Henk van Ginkel, contradicts PSV's claims that the Milan star had chosen to move to the Amsterdam ArenA purely because of money.
He said: "He earns é¼200,000 (£150,000 a year) less at Ajax than he would have got if he were at PSV."
Stam has been a mainstay in the Milan side this season, making 22 appearances.
