Tomas Galasek is set to be offered a new deal by Ajax.

The Czech Republic midfielder has turned his career around in the last six months, having won over coach Danny Blind with his all-action displays, and the club and player are set to sit down and thrash out fresh terms in the near future.

"Tomas would like to stay and we see him as a full member of the selection," Ajax technical director Martin van Geel told AD Sportwereld.

"The good feeling has grown from the two sides in the last few weeks.

"We hope we can give a successful follow-up to that soon. The first talks have been positive."

Veteran keeper Hans Vonk seems set to move on in the summer, with the South African eager to secure a fresh challenge.

"Hans wants to look for a new challenge and we respect that," added van Geel.
