Feyenoord boosted their title hopes with a 1-0 win over PSV Eindhoven at De Kuip on Sunday afternoon.

Dirk Kuyt proved to be the hero for Feyenoord with the only goal of the game.

The Dutch international netted the all-important winner after just seven minutes to give the home side all three points.

The win lifts Feyenoord level on points with PSV and AZ Alkmaar at the top of the table.

The defeat was only PSV's second of the season and leaves the title race wide open.

Rogier Molhoek grabbed a third for RKC on 70 minutes and although Ricky van den Bergh pulled a goal back in the dying seconds RKC held on for the points.

Ajax climbed into the top six with a 2-0 victory at Vitesse Arnhem.

Tomas Galasek sent Ajax on their way with the opener from the penalty spot on 17 minutes.

Greek striker Angelos Charisteas made sure of the win with the second goal on 75 minutes.
