Ajax's Hedwiges Maduro says that he is not bothered by interest from Italian giants Juventus.

The young midfielder is understood to have been watched by Bianconeri scouts whilst on international duty with Holland recently. But it seems the 20-year-old has his feet firmly on the ground and is not about to be unsettled by the talk.

"Of course you're happy that a club is following you. But my mind isn't on Juventus, it's only on Ajax," he said.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Del Piero says that he will be happy to stay on at the Stadio Delle Alpe - even if it does mean that he will have to endure a spell of bench warming.

"I am 30 year of age, that isn't old for a footballer. I've never said that I would leave if I was told to stay on the bench," he revealed.

"I will accept a role on the bench if that's what is required of me for Juve or the national team. This is what comes from playing in such powerful teams."
