ADO want Witschge

ADO DEN HAAG are planning for life in De Eredivisie next season, with Ajax veteran Richard Witschge their number one target.

The former Dutch international was informed last month that his contract would not be renewed.

Witschge immediately said he had no plans to retire, a statement which alerted ambitious Gouden Gids Divisie pace-setters ADO.

Plans are already underway to offer the languid former Barcelona midfielder a deal at the end of the season.

ADO are eyeing a host of other players, including Ajax`s Richard Knopper, who is currently on loan at Aris Saloniki, and Igor Gluscevic of Utrecht.
