Steve McClaren: Could be heading for Dutch return

Sky Bet

Steve McClaren's representatives have flown to Holland to open talks with FC Twente, skysports.com understands.

Co Adriaanse was axed on Tuesday by the Dutch outfit - who are now seemingly ready to move for their former boss.

The club's chief Joop Munsterman has already confirmed that McClaren is on their shortlist to be their new boss.

Now skysports.com can confirm that McClaren's agents have travelled to Holland to meet with the Enschede-based club.

The former England and Middlesbrough chief is out of work, following an unsuccessful shot spell with Nottingham Forest earlier this season.
