AZ Alkmaar are closing in on the capture of Willem II midfielder Denny Landzaat.
AZ coach Co Adriaanse worked with Landzaat during his time at Willem II and he is keen to renew the association.
Willem II have resisted offers for the player in the past but it is believed that the midfielder will finally get his wish to secure a move to a bigger stage.
Feyenoord and Ajax were interested in the 27-year-old in recent seasons, but were put off by Willem II's demands.
However, it is believed that they will accept a deal this time around, with reports suggesting a contract could be sealed in the near future.
