PSV EINDHOVEN have granted AZ Alkmaar permission to keep Michael Lamey next season.

The young defender has impressed during his loan stint at AZ, and they have been trying to thrash out a deal with PSV for some time.

It was rumoured that Lamey would return to the Philips Stadion in the summer, due to their current injury troubles, but it has been decided that he should continue to gain experience at AZ.

The 23-year-old is highly rated at PSV, who are almost certain to make use of his skills in the future.

In other news, PSV have confirmed Lee Young-pyo has signed a permanent deal.

The 26-year-old has impressed during his loan stint at PSV, and Anyang Cheetahs said earlier in the week that they had agreed a transfer with the Eredivisie leaders.

PSV have now confirmed a three-year deal has been inked.
