Sky Sports to show 19 live games on Bumper Easter weekend of football

Crack open the Easter eggs this weekend and get ready to settle down because from Good Friday to Bank Holiday Monday there will be over 28 hours of live football in 19 games across six leagues, four countries and two continents. And there is only one place to watch them all: Sky Sports.

Good Friday - April 3

Soccer Special - Sky Sports News HQ 2pm

Join Julian Warren and guests as they bring you all the goals from the Football League as they go in, with key fixtures taking place up and down the country.

Ipswich Town v Bournemouth - Sky Sports 1 HD 5.15pm 

Kicking off the action on Friday evening is a crucial Sky Bet Championship clash between promotion-chasing Ipswich and league leaders Bournemouth.

Derby County v Watford - Sky Sports 1 HD 7.45pm 

After that it's up to the Midlands for another key fixture at the top when Steve McClaren’s Derby County aim to bring an end to their poor recent form with victory at home to second-placed Watford.

Orlando City v DC United - Sky Sports 5 HD Midnight

Then at midnight we head across the Atlantic for the first live MLS action of the weekend between Orlando City and DC United on Sky Sports 5 HD.

Saturday - April 4

Jeff Stelling and the gang are on hand to bring you a host of interviews then keep an eye on all the goings on in the Premier League and beyond.

Swindon Town v MK Dons - Sky Sports 1 HD 12.15pm

Kicking off Saturday’s action is an enticing Sky Bet League One encounter between Swindon Town and MK Dons as they both chase Preston in the final automatic promotion spot.

Cordoba v Atletico Madrid - Sky Sports 5 HD 5.15pm SS5HD

Saturday evening sees our first trip to Spain of the weekend,  with Atletico Madrid hoping to sure up their Champions League qualification credentials with victory over bottom club Cordoba. The game kicks off at 5pm, with our coverage starting 15 minutes later on Sky Sports 5 HD.

Chelsea v Stoke City - Sky Sports 1 HD 5.30pm

On Saturday Night Football, Premier League leaders Chelsea take on mid-table Stoke City at Stamford Bridge. The Blues' gap at the top could be as little four points going into the game, with other teams below them in action earlier in the day.

FC Twente v PSV - Sky Sports 5 HD 7.45pm

Then, to round off your Saturday night, FC Twente will attempt to do the chasing pack a favour by beating runaway Eredivisie leaders PSV - who are closing in on their first title since 2008.

Easter Sunday - April 5

Real Madrid v Granada - Sky Sports 5 HD 11am

Kicking off the first of Easter Sunday’s nine games and nearly 13 hours of virtually non-stop football will be Real Madrid’s attempts to close the gap on La Liga leaders Barcelona. Cristiano Ronaldo and Co currently sit four points off their bitter rivals, who play later in the day.

FC Utrecht v Ajax - Sky Sports 3 HD 11.30am

On Sky Sports 3 HD we head back to Eredivisie as Ajax travel to FC Utrecht in hopes of closing the gap on PSV, who could be 11 points clear by the time this one kicks off.

Az Alkmaar v Feyenoord - Sky Sports 3 RED BUTTON 11.30am

But if you don’t fancy that than just press the red button to watch the battle for third in the Dutch top flight between AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord, who sit four points clear of their opponents in third.

Burnley v Tottenham - Sky Sports 1 HD 1.30pm

Kicking off Super Sunday is a clash between relegation-threatened Burnley and Champions League-chasing Tottenham. Mauricio Pochettino’s side need to get a move on as they try and claw back the gap on Manchester United in fourth, while Burnley will hope victory can lift them out of the bottom three.

Sunderland v Newcastle - Sky Sports 1 HD 4pm

Then it’s the small matter of the Tyne-Wear derby as both Newcastle boss John Carver and new Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat take charge in this fixture for the first time.

The Black Cats will be hoping for a win to steer clear of relegation, while Carver will be hoping to win over the Newcastle fans with victory in a fixture where former boss Alan Pardew had a truly terrible record – winning just one of eight Premier League encounters and losing his last four.

Valencia v Villarreal - Sky Sports 5 HD 4pm

Or if you don’t fancy the north-east action, third-place Valencia will be hosting Villarreal in La Liga at the same time on Sky Sports 5 HD.

Getafe v Deportivo La Coruna - Sky Sports 5 HD 6pm

Straight after that Deportivo La Coruna travel to Getafe as both sides search for the points that could help the avoid the drop.

Celta Vigo v Barcelona - Sky Sports 5 HD 8pm

Then league leaders Barcelona travel to Celta Vigo as they attempt to widen the gap between themselves and Real Madrid.

San Jose Earthquakes v Real Salt Lake - Sky Sports 5 HD 10pm

The final action of a bumper Easter Sunday sees us back in the MLS as San Jose Earthquakes take on Real Salt Lake in a Western Conference clash.

Bank Holiday Monday - April 6

Live Ford Monday Night Football

Watford v Middlesbrough - Sky Sports 1 HD 12.30pm

Just a couple of days after their first game of the weekend, Watford and Middlesbrough are back in action in what will inevitably be a crucial game in the outcome at the top of the Championship.

Soccer Special - Sky Sports News HQ 2pm

Julian Warren is back again for another packed schedule in the Football League, with promtion challengers Bournemouth and Derby among those in action in the 3pm kick-offs.

Wolves v Leeds Sky Sports 1 HD 5.15pm 

Wolves then take on Leeds in the early evening game as they attempt to bolster their promotion credentials with victory.

Crystal Palace v Man City Sky Sports 1 HD 8pm

And to cap it all off, Crystal Palace will welcome Manchester City to Selhurst Park on Monday Night Football as Manuel Pellegrini’s side look to keep up the pressure on league leaders Chelsea and not let their season go out with a whimper.
