PSV Eindhoven made a disappointing start to the Eredivisie season as they were beaten 3-2 at RKC Waalwijk.
Jeremain Lens got the visitors off to the perfect start but a Wilfred Bouma own goal raised the home crowd before Rodney Sneijder debut efforts either side of half-time put RKC two goals up.
Tim Matavs pulled one back and RKC were then reduced to 10 men when Guy Ramos saw red but the underdogs held on to stun PSV.
In the other two games in the Dutch top flight on Saturday, Roda JC played out a 1-1 draw with PEC Zwolle and Heracles drew by the same score with VVV Venlo.
Joost Broerse netted the opener for Zwolle before Sanharib Malki equalised and both sides had to settle for a point after Mitchell Donald was red carded for the home side.
Everton scored Heracles' goal but Bryan Linssen levelled things up for VVV before the break and that's the way it stayed.
