Ajax youngster Ruben Ligeon is considering the offer of a three-year contract extension, according to his agent.
The 19-year-old right-back has notched up three first-team appearances for Ajax after making his debut for the club in October.
The Amsterdam side want to extend his contract for another three seasons and his agent, Soren Lerby, says Ligeon is considering the offer.
"We will talk with Ajax this week," he told De Telegraaf. "We are considering the offer and will come back with a counteroffer."
Ajax are keen to tie Ligeon down on a long-term deal to prepare for the possible departure of first-choice right-back Gregory van der Wiel, who has been heavily linked with a move to Valencia.
