Dutch hitman on trial at NAC

Striker Romano Denneboom has been given a chance to earn a contract at NAC Breda after the Eredivisie club handed him a trial. The 30-year-old, a former Heerenveen and FC Twente player, is currently a free agent. Denneboom was released by German side Arminia Bielefeld over the summer and is now looking to win a permanent deal in Breda. The striker, who won a solitary Holland cap against Liechtenstein in 2004, will be looking to make a fresh start after failing to rediscover his best form with Twente and making only four appearances for Bielefeld.
