Feyenoord have suffered another injury setback with the news Luigi Bruins will miss Sunday's visit of ADO Den Haag.
Head coach Mario Been will have to cope without the services of the attacking midfielder as he recovers from a groin injury.
The 23-year-old was absent for last week's 2-0 defeat at Groningen due to the knock, but was expected to be fit in time for this weekend's clash.
However, the beleaguered Eredivisie giants have reported on their official website that Bruins has not been included in the match squad due to his injury concerns.
Promising youngster Jerson Cabral will step up in Bruins' absence on Sunday.
The 19-year-old, who made his official Feyenoord debut earlier this season, has made 12 league appearances for the Rotterdam club, scoring once.
Struggling Feyenoord, who sit second bottom of the standings with 13 points, host Den Haag having won just three matches this campaign.
