FC Twente defender Douglas has ruled out the possibility of joining Eredivisie rivals Ajax or PSV Eindhoven.

The Brazilian has been one of the stars of the season with former England manager Steve McClaren's title chasers and that has led to reports of interest around Europe.

Eredivisie leaders PSV have been credited with an interest, while Martin Jol's Ajax, Juventus and Wolfsburg are also thought to be considering a summer offer.

But Douglas has dismissed suggestions of a move to another Dutch club because of his commitment to Twente.

"A transfer is inconceivable to me," the 22-year-old is quoted as saying by NUsport.

"My heart does not allow me to play football for Ajax or PSV. FC Twente means too much to me.

"I would quite like to do something in return. I want to write history with this club."
