Holloway happy with defender deal

Blackpool have landed Plymouth defender Marcel Seip on a one-month loan deal. Seip had been on the transfer list at Plymouth after a dressing-room bust-up with Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock in August. Holloway, who signed Seip during his time in charge of Plymouth, moved for the defender after seeing Neal Eardley and Rob Edwards pick up injuries in last weekend's win over Peterborough. Seip could go straight into the side for Tuesday's clash with Bristol City and Holloway is delighted to have the Dutchman on board. "I'm delighted to have Marcel with us, he is a good solid player and he will give us another option in defence," Holloway told the club's official website.
