Gill Swerts will leave Vitesse Arnhem in the summer after rejecting a new contract.
The Belgian has spent three seasons with Vitesse after joining from ADO Den Haag and has decided to move on.
Vitesse technical director Marc van Hintum has expressed his disappointment that Swerts will be leaving on a free transfer.
"It is a pity that Gill Swerts can't be kept at the club," Van Hintum told the club's official website.
"We have made him an excellent offer, but a player with a free transfer status decides himself where he plays."
The midfielder, who missed much of last season with a knee injury, is understood to have received offers from clubs in Holland and outside of the Eredivisie.
