Dutch goalkeeper Stefan Postma's proposed move to QPR appears to have fallen through.

Den Haag claim keeper fails to agree terms

Dutch goalkeeper Stefan Postma's proposed move to Queens Park Rangers appears to have fallen through. Postma had been fighting to secure a switch to Loftus Road earlier this month after activating a clause in his ADO Den Haag contract. The former Aston Villa and Wolves keeper took his current club to the Dutch FA (KNVB) after QPR had agreed to take on the remaining months of his contract. The KNVB found in Postma's favour and he was due to pay the stipulated 50,000 euros (£37,000) to secure his release from Den Haag. However, Den Haag have now revealed that the 31-year-old's transfer to the Championship club is off and he could face punishment for his conduct in the matter.

Dismayed

Den Haag's technical manager Peter Hofstede told the club's official website: "It now appears that Stefan and his intended new club have not come to an agreement, so the contract between ADO Den Haag and the goalkeeper stays in force. "We are particularly dismayed by the fact that his obligations towards ADO were not respected during the negotiations with QPR. "He will have to answer this before the technical staff and, as a result of this case, Stefan will face an appropriate penalty."
