Vitesse Arnhem's Michael Jansen is determined to recapture his first-team place.

The 23-year-old was sidelined with a heart condition in 2005, but he is now set to return to training.

"Of course it will take time to get him back on his old level, but he wants to fight for it," his agent Karel van Burik said.

Vitesse confirmed that they are now waiting for Jansen to have medical tests before he can resume playing.

"When you haven't been able to work for two years there follows a procedure, the next legal step then it is a retest by an independent doctor," said general director Paul van der Kraan

Meanwhile, Vitesse have confirmed the arrival of Hungarian goalkeeper Balazs Raboczki on a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old has been on trial at Vitesse and has done enough to earn a permanent deal and will become No.2 to Piet Velthuizen.
