Ger Senden has agreed to extend his Roda JC Kerkrade career for another season.

The veteran defender, who has made over 400 league appearances for Roda, has accepted an offer of a 12-month contract.

But reports suggest that, if Senden is unable to compete at the top level next term, he will be offered a different role at the club.

Meanwhile, Roda are considering adding to their squad with the signing of Kevin Vandenbergh from RC Genk.

Vandenbergh has been interesting Utrecht, but his asking price has deterred his original suitors, allowing Roda to explore a deal.

Genk's demands are also likely to be too high for Roda, though, as the club seek a replacement for Adil Ramzi (pictured).

Another option to fill in for Ramzi is Anour Hadouir, who has 12 months remaining on his contract at Willem II Tilburg.

One deal which has been concluded is that of Fatih Sonkaya, who is returning to Roda on a season-long from Porto.
