RKC look to Vasconcelos

RKC Waalwijk are keen to re-sign Portuguese forward Bernardo Vasconcelos.

RKC Waalwijk are keen to re-sign Bernardo Vasconcelos after releasing him in the summer.

The 25-year-old scored four times in 17 games for RKC last season, although he left the Dutch side to join Uniao Leiria in his home country Portugal.

At the time coach Erwin Koeman (pictured) had plenty of striking options, although now the ex-Holland international wants to bring Vasconcelos to Brabant to bolster the squad following the summer departure of Iwan Redan to Willem II.

In other developments RKC have offered shot-stopper Khalid Sinouh a new contract as his current deal is due to expire in June. The 29-year-old Moroccan has been an ever-present this season.

The Waalwijkers are also looking to open negotiations with defender Serginho Greene and youngster Michael Krohn-Dehli, and have already offered a new deal to 23-year-old Roger Molhoek.
