KHALID SINOUH has revealed that he would like to stay and fight for his place at RKC Waalwijk.

The 26-year-old keeper has yet to secure a regular starting berth, with RKC coach Martin Jol preferring Rob van Dijk in goal, but the club are keen for him to stay on.

Jol (pictured) has offered Sinouh a new deal, and even though it is not quite what he wanted, he seems keen to sign.

"RKC have offered me a three-year contract," he said. "I expected better, but we're still negotiating.

"The contract of first choice Rob van Dijk runs out in two seasons. Maybe then there will be possibilities to become first keeper."
