CSKA Moscow look set to fail in their bid to sign Wesley Sonck from Borussia Monchengladbach before the close of the Russian transfer window.
CSKA have until Tuesday to clinch the Belgian striker's signature but Sonck's agent has revealed he is set to stay with Monchengladbach.
"Everything had to be arranged so quickly and due to his family he decided not to go with the Russian adventure," explained Bonnie.
Sonck has failed to impress since joining Monchengladbach from Ajax for é¼2.5million (£1.7million) in 2005.
He was linked with Brugge in January but a move failed to materialise.
