Borussia Monchengladbach youngster Marcell Jansen has agreed a contract extension with the Foals.
The 19-year-old Germany international left-back's agent Gerd vom Bruch revealed on Thursday that his client has put pen-to-paper on a one-year extension that keeps him at the club until 2009.
"We have reached an agreement that everyone is happy with," von Bruch told SID.
No financial details of the agreement have been revealed although it is certain that Jansen will receive a considerable pay rise.
The teenager broke into the Gladbach first team under former coach Dick Advocaat last season and has quickly developed into an important player for both club and country.
