Mainz chairman Harald Strutz has handed a strong vote of confidence to under-fire manager Thomas Tuchel.

The Bundesliga club have just nine points from the first 11 weeks of the campaign and pressure has mounted on Tuchel as a consequence.
Strutz, though, insists the club maintains belief Tuchel, 38, ahead of Friday's home match against sixth-placed Stuttgart.
The Mainz chairman told Deutsche Presseagentur: "If things run fine, things are running fine. If things are going bad, things have gone bad.
"Thomas Tuchel and his staff will find the right answers. I am sure we will still win many matches with Thomas Tuchel in charge of our club."
