Arminia Bielefeld are sweating over the fitness of Germany international defender Patrick Owomoyela.The right back is currently nursing an ankle injury and is doubtful for the club's clash this weekend.
Owomoyela injured ligaments in training and could be forced to sit out their trip to Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 25-year-old is hopeful of playing on Saturday, but will wait until Friday before knowing whether he has recovered.
"I don't want to rule out that I will be able to line up, but no decision will be made before Friday," he said.
Owomoyela made his international breakthrough last month, after starring in all three of Germany's internationals against Japan, South Korea and Thailand in Asia.
