Eintracht Frankfurt have secured the services of Switzerland forward Haris Seferovic following lengthy negotiations with Real Sociedad.

The 22-year-old on Friday put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Eagles.

"We're totally delighted that this transfer has worked out favourably," said Frankfurt's director of sport Bruno Hubner.

"We intentionally chose a young player who already has a relatively high degree of experience, but who still has plenty of room for improvement."

Seferovic, who scored once in four appearances for Switzerland at the World Cup finals, told his new club's official website: "I am so pleased that everything has worked out.

"I am really looking forward to this new challenge."
