Eintracht Frankfurt have announced the signing of right-back Timothy Chandler from Nurnberg on a three-year contract.
The 24-year-old United States international, who played for Frankfurt as a youth and in their second team, made his first appearance for Nurnberg in 2011 but will now return to the place of his birth after playing in the World Cup.
Chandler's contract will keep him at the club until at least June 30, 2017.
Frankfurt sporting director Bruno Hubner said: "We are delighted that the transfer worked out. It's nice that Timothy Chandler is returning to Frankfurt - a home-grown talent that left us returns back home.
"We wish him much success with the US national team in Brazil."
