FC Cologne midfielder Albert Streit will re-join Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer.
The 26-year-old put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal at the Commerzbank Arena on Tuesday and will now return to the club where his career began.
Streit came through the junior ranks at Frankfurt before making his debut for the first team during the 2000/01 season. He moved to VfL Wolfsburg in the summer of 2003 on a free transfer.
"In Albert Streit we have signed an experienced Bundesliga player," commented Eintracht chairman Heribert Bruchhagen.
"He comes from the Eintracht youth programme and he will help strengthen our target of establishing ourselves in the Bundesliga with players from the region."
